Halas U8s East started the season off in good form playing a committed Kewford Eagles North side, both teams played their part in an entertaining game.
Ever dependable Louie Jones & Tom Baker were tremendous in defence and newcomer Joshua Willetts scored his first of the season.
Goalkeeper Josh Smith made some great saves even whilst injured in the second half. Charlie Greening got off the mark with a great header from a Joshua Yorke corner and Morgan Rogers was unlucky not to get Man of the Match award after scoring 4 and playing a part in 6 of the goals.
However Man of the Match went to Joshua Yorke who whilst scoring his first of the season put in a great all round performance.
A special mention should go to Kewford Eagles North keeper for a great performance.
