Friendlies

The U8s East travelled to Kewford Eagles West and scored 5 goals in a good performance. Goals came from Joshua Willetts 2, Tom Baker, Morgan Rogers and Charlie Greening. Man of the match went to Louie Jones after a great captain’s performance.

Girls League

Halas Hawks 7 Withymoor 0
Halas Hawks U10s girls were slow to get off the mark against Withymoor but the final score was a convincing 7-0 win. Goals came from Billie Jo Handy (4), Chloe Adderley (2) and Brodie Rumsey

Halas Hawks 2 Withymoor Colts 2
This U11s top of the table clash against Withymoor produced a game of high quality and drama. Halas were excellent in the first half, although they had only a goal from Lucy Heaselgrave to show for their efforts. The second half was an end to end affair with Withymoor scoring two goals in two minutes to take the lead before Sophie Heaselgrave grabbed the equaliser, which set up a frenetic finish with both teams striving for the elusive winner.

Ferndale Youth 3 Halas Hawks 4
The U14s started the game strongly and went two up in the first quarter courtesy of Megan Ingram & Elizabeth McAleenan. Ferndale then pulled one back only for Rhianne Murray to give Halas a two goal margin again almost immediately. The visitors should have been home and dry just after the break when Murray got her second but a spirited fight back from the home team led to a tense finish
, but a well organized Halas defence held strong for victory. Player of the match was Cara Tromans.

Halas Hawks 5 Wednesfield 1
The U16s secured their place in the semi final of the League Cup after a convincing aggregate 5-1 score in a double header against Wednesfield. An own goal opened the scoring followed by goals from Sophie Leak, Tash Berry, Laura Tomlinson and Lauren Pearson.

Boys League

Trysull Tigers 5 Halas Hawks West 3
The U11s West missed out on a cup final place in a thrilling fast-paced semi-final against Trysull
. From the start Halas played some good football, but it was Trysull who opened up a two goal lead. Cameron Milne pulled one back but Trysull restored their lead before half time. The second half saw Trysull score two more, but the last fifteen minutes saw Halas reduce the deficit through Jack Willetts and Alex Goode, but it was not enough to see Halas through to the final.

Dudley 2 Halas Dynamos 3
It was a below par performance from the U11s Dynamos but they still managed to take all three points against Dudley Juniors courtesy of an own goal and two strikes from Jordan Boffey, who put on a super display which also earned him man of the match.

Brierley and Hagley 5 Halas 2
The U12s found themselves four goals adrift against Brierley and Hagley but deservedly pulled two goals back through Kane Griffiths-York, before Brierley made the game safe with a 5-2 scoreline. Jack Bagley was man of the match.

Halas Hawks 1 Kewford 0
The U13s produced a display full of commitment and team work to win 1-0 at home to Kewford Eagles, extending their winning run to four matches. Hawks had only 11 fit players, and that included two players playing with knocks, which made the battling result all the more
impressive. The goal scorer was Reece Marks.

Withymoor Colts 0 Halas Hawks 2
Perseverance from the U14s away to Withymoor created two goals in the second half from Luke Patton and Dominic Potter to earn a well earned 2-0 win. Man of the match Daniel Scarrett

Halas Hawks 2 Longbridge 0
A classy performance from the U16s at home to Longbridge saw a goal in each half to give them a 2-0 win. Mark Perry scored the first with a good header from a corner and the second came from defender Drew Jones with a close range effort, his first of the season. Man of the match went to Alex Dudley for a towering performance in the heart of the defence.
