Halas suffered their first defeat of the season following a very
good second half performance from a stong Kewford Eagles East side.
Halas started the game in good form and went 1 up with a fine
Charlie Greening header from a Morgan Rogers corner, after
conceding an equaliser Morgan Rogers put Halas back in front
with a great left footed strike, just before half time after a
defensive mix up Kewford equalised for the second time.
After the break Kewford Eagles East ran out worthy winners with some well
worked goals, Halas replied with 2 goals from Man of the Match

A below par
performance from Halas Hawks saw Bethan Bryan grab a late
equaliser against a physically stronger Gornal side in this U11s
league match, which maintains their unbeaten start to the
season.

The U12s fought valiantly against the league leaders but were
unable to penetrate the Kewford defence going down 8-0. There
were excellent debuts for Charlotte Chidley, Elizabeth Thomas
and Jade Milke.

An exciting game between the U13s and Angels saw players from
both teams rise to the occasion. Goalkeeper, Demi Bradley, kept
Halas in the game throughout and goals from Elisha Rose, and
Danielle Lawrence turned a closely fought game into a Halas win.
Great play from Charis Maguire, Summer Archer and Hannah
Williams in defence.

Peopleton Juniors 0
The U14s had a
terrific match against Peopleton Juniors and finished the match
as strongly as they had begun. Goals from Megan Ingram, Rhianne
Murray, Lauren Taylor and a first goal in Halas colours for Kate
Drew sealed the win. Player of the match was Katie Hickman.

Halas Hawks 3
The U16s returned to
winning ways with a 3-2 away win over Longbidge Colts. A hat
trick from in-form Amin Ali sealed the win for a Halas team that
showed grit and determination in an excellent all round team
performance. Man of the match went to Jamie Hewitt.
The U12s travelled
to Forest Falcons where goals from Connor Leak and Dominic
Hipkiss gave them a well deserved lead, but Falcons hit back and
earned themselves a point in a 2-2 draw. Man of the match went
to Daniel Jennings.
The U15s were away
to Oldbury Park Tigers where they went down 5-1, with their goal
coming from Ryan Beech. |
